Happy Thanksgiving (Part 2 - i.e., on the actual day)!

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all! May this day of giving thanks find you well, happy, healthy, robust, of sound mind and body and ready for many more to come! Make it a great day. :) Our pigs Truffle, Dumbo and Omelet all want to wish you a very happy, healthy and safe Thanksgiving (once again)! They hope you enjoy your turkey (or chicken or steak or tofu depending on your diet preferences), potatoes and pumpkin pie while they enjoy their hay, bell pepper and pellets. :D

 Truffle helps peel the potatoes so that they'll be ready for some good ol' mashing! Yeah! Such a good little helper/elf/guinea pig.

Omelet and the pumpkin pie just came out of the oven together. (Ha! ha! We are absolutely 100 percent JUST KIDDING! Disclaimer: No guinea pigs were harmed in the staging and taking of any of these photos. They are all completely safe and sound at the time of this blog entry.) FYI: This pie was not made by us but by the awesome Sweet Things Bake Shop in the East Village. www.girlsclub.org is their official website. Proceeds benefit The Lower Eastside Girls Club.

Omelet wants to try some pumpkin pie. :] But it's not vegan, Omelet! (The pigs are vegans as far as we know.)

As you can see, Dumbo is waiting patiently by the tray of papaya bread thingies that Billye randomly made this morning. He takes a very nice closeup, if I may say so. :) What a handsome little guy!
