Truffle and Omelet say "hello!"

Here are photos of Truffle and Omelet from last weekend.

Being a curious cat. Truffle wants to know what is going on around him.

"Why is there a light going off in my face? :("

I think he looks simply adorable here (as he always does, of course). Look at that precious face! He's a bit mystified because he doesn't know why his hay basket is upside down.

As you can see, Omelet, when stretched out fully, is just about the same size, length-wise, as the width of Billye's stomach! Wow, now we know why the vet and her techinican were genuinely amazed to see how big of a little guy Omelet really is. :]

For comparison, here is a photo of Omelet taken last summer (2009)! When he was very young, he could fit in the palm of one hand! His growth has since slowed, but if there's even a slight chance he can get any bigger, he will need to be committed to a zoo, LOL.

Omelet loves his hay! (As do Dumbo and Truffle.) Among the three of them, they consume on average about 9 pounds of it every four weeks or so. That is a HUGE amount of hay going in their tummies. Here he is eating what we have nicknamed a "gerbil tail." It's the part of hay that has a flowery growth on the end and somewhat resembles a gerbil's tail. :D Omelet loves his gerbil tails! He also loves it when you feed it to him. :)
